LeAnn Rimes confesses that dealing with the impact of her infidelity “was very, very difficult”.
The 30-year-old songstress cheated on her former husband Dean Sheremet with her current spouse Eddie Cibrian.
LeAnn suffered a breakdown recently and did a month-long stint in rehab to treat anxiety and stress.
The star admits that she felt guilty quite often while she was being unfaithful to Dean.
“I wasn't sure if I was wishing myself well at the time,” LeAnn revealed to Katie Couric on an episode of talk show Katie airing Thursday.
“It was very, very difficult. Um…I wouldn't wish it on anyone…especially in the public eye to go through all of it.”
LeAnn has grown from her mistakes.
She has accepted her past and is moving on.
“I made my choices, you know? I made my choices and I'm living with them,” she explained.
“And I also have learned from them and I've talked about this so much. But I know that…I'm not the only person that goes through this. There's so many that do. And there's so much on the new album that I do share.”
