Snoop Dogg turns ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ into a jingle

‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ is now an ad jingle for microwaveable snack treat Hot Pockets, replete with a new video.

Snoop Dogg hasn’t let his spiritual reinvention as Snoop Lion stop him from making the big bucks, repurposing the breakthrough hit ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ into a commercial for Hot Pockets featuring YouTube rapper DeStorm Power and comedic actor and rapper Andy Milonakis.

It’s a perfect fit for the microwaveable snack, which is indeed hot (although reportedly often ice cold at once, such is the mystery of microwaving).

The ad also has their mascot Herbie Hot Pockets pimped out to the nines in a fun coat and shade. Check out the cheesy drizzle, dripping on his shizzle, below.
