Sharon Osbourne couldn’t stop crying at her son’s wedding because she kept thinking he was still “12 years of age”.
Jack Osbourne married Lisa Stelly in a ceremony in Hawaii last Sunday, with only close family and friends in attendance.
Despite being overjoyed at her son’s nuptials, Sharon was weeping as the couple exchanged their vows.
“He did, he did [get married] and it was wonderful! Oh my goodness [I cried], people thought I was sad, but it was tears of joy!” she exclaimed to Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O.
“All I kept thinking was, ‘My boy’s still 12 years of age! [And he’s] getting married’, then I realised, no he’s not, he’s 26, what am I doing!”
Sharon also turned 60 while she was in Hawaii and in celebration of the landmark age, Mariah Carey surprised her friend by singing Happy Birthday on Sharon’s show The Talk.
The star fully supports “Team Mariah” when it comes to the diva’s supposed feud with her fellow American Idol judge Nicki Minaj.
“[I am] Team Mariah!” she enthused.
“And do you know what, Nicki Minaj is quite fabulous, but she’s out of her league! Do not mess with the Mariah because she will kick your booty, Mrs! Nicki Minaj is all new to this world, Mariah has been having hit records for 22 years...Don’t mess with Mariah!”
