Canada’s indie titans Arcade Fire have posted a live video of them performing an unreleased song.

The band have been off the radar a little following their hit 2010 album The Suburbs, but they performed a previously-unheard song ‘Crucified Again’ at a recent appearance to celebrate the 25th birthday of NGO Partners In Health in New York.

They posted a video of them playing the song, which has only been played in Haiti previously to this.

Don’t be certain that the tune will be on their next album, though. The person who runs their Facebook posted that “’Crucified Again’ sounds to me like a song from The Suburbs sessions and I don’t expect it to be part of the new album. I was in contact with Arcade Fire’s management on Friday and they told me “they have better new songs!”, which most definitely will make the final cut.”

Regardless, check out the song below, as well as another brief live acoustic set from Montreal where they perform ‘My Body Is A Cage’, ‘Empty Room’ and ‘Wake Up’.
