Taylor Swift, Muse and No Doubt will all perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) next month.

The event will take place on November 11 in Frankfurt, Germany, with supermodel Heidi Klum as the host.

It will be Taylor’s first appearance at the EMA awards, while Muse will play a track from their new album The 2nd Law.

''I've always wanted to go to the EMAs, because you hear about the spectacle of it, and how everyone just goes all out for their performances,” Taylor told MTV.

“To be nominated for five EMAs was the most exciting feeling, and I was absolutely blown away. I can't wait to be there this year and perform on the show!''

With five nominations, the 22-year-old country singer is closely behind Rihanna, who leads the way with six.

Katy Perry and Justin Bieber are up for four awards each.

Organisers of the annual MTV event will be announcing more performers and presenters soon.

Last year’s event in Belfast, Northern Ireland, attracted a record 39 million TV viewers.
