Leona Lewis becomes a lady in red in Ariella Couture dress for intimate gig in London nightclub as she prepares for return to the charts.

Leona is about to release her first album in three years. Rather than a big stadium concert she opted for an intimate gig at Annabel’s nightclub in London on Tuesday.

The international superstar, 27, performed in front of her parents Aural and Maria, Kelly Brook and Arun Nayar and a select audience.

She looked stunning for the acoustic gig, taking to the stage in a flamboyant floor-length red silk chiffon gown by Ariella Couture (www.ariella.com).

After singing a few of her hits, Leona spent the rest of the evening drinking wine and partying with her friends and family until 1.30am.

She wrote on Twitter on Wednesday: 'My feet hurt from murdering the dancefloor with my beautiful friends and fam all night! Luv ya.'

Her new single Trouble, inspired by the breakdown of her relationship with long-term love Lou Al-Chamaa, is due to release on October 5.

A week later, she will release her third studio album Glassheart, which has been a long work in progress.

She started recording it in late 2010 after finishing her Labyrinth tour, with it originally scheduled for release in 2011. However, it was delayed until March 2012, and again until October.
