Nick Lachey is "so ready" to be a father.
The first-time dad has joked it is time for his baby with wife Vanessa Lachey to be born. The couple are expecting their new arrival in September and have confirmed it will be a boy.
"I'm so ready, I think, as we both are for him to come out and meet the little guy," Nick told MTV News. "It's about time."
The 98 Degrees singer is looking forward to his TV presenter wife giving birth. The star admitted that Vanessa is awaiting the imminent arrival even more than he is, as the bigger she gets the more difficult it is for her to get around.
"I'm very excited," Nick gushed. "She's doing great. You know, it's starting to get a little uncomfortable now. It's the dead of summer. It's hot. She's very pregnant."
The Stars Earn Stripes competitor recently revealed he would love to have three children in total, and can’t wait to embrace every aspect of fatherhood.
“Maybe it’s because this is my first, but I’m looking forward to the lack of sleep – everything,” he said. “I don’t care. I’m excited to do the whole process.”
