Willie Nelson cancels fundraiser after being hospitalised

Willie Nelson today looks and acts the Willie Nelson of the 70′s.

The hair, the bandanas, the voice are all just about the same. We sometimes forget that he is actually 79 years old.

Those years may have been a factor on Sunday night when Nelson was forced to cancel a fund-raiser in Denver, CO after being hospitalised for breathing problems. According to the local 9News, the crowd was told that he had been taken to be seen by specialists after “suffering from breathing problems due to the high altitude and emphysema.”

According to sources, Nelson’s band did make it to the venue but Nelson did not. The fundraiser was for the Denver Dumb Friends League, an animal shelter, at Lulu’s Barkin’ BBQ.
