Rihanna was the “centre of attention” when she dined out this week.
The stunning singer decided to take a break from her hectic work schedule to catch up with a friend at the Scarpetta restaurant in Beverly Hills on Monday. Rihanna clearly enjoyed herself during the evening and was spotted laughing and joking.
"She [seemed to be] in great spirits," a source told People. "She was even dancing in her seat at the table at one point during her meal. [She was] the centre of attention."
Rihanna attracted a number of admiring glances in her cut-off shorts, a military jacket and strappy red high heels.
The 24-year-old beauty and her pal sampled the restaurant’s signature spaghetti dish and enjoyed some wine during their evening out.
However, Rihanna didn’t have too much time to relax as she is due to arrive in Japan today. The star is scheduled to appear at the Summer Sonic Osaka 2012 music festival this weekend.
Rihanna made the most of her flight though, using the time to celebrate her father’s birthday.
“Osaka I'm almost there!!!” she wrote on her Twitter account this morning. “Me and pops spent his entire bday on the plane!!! SMH!! Happy birthday Daddy!!!! (sic)”
