Katy Perry has reportedly set her sights on Robert Pattinson.
The American singer is single following her divorce from Russell Brand, while the British actor is rumoured to have split from Kristen Stewart after she admitted being unfaithful.
Katy and Robert have been friends for a long time and she has apparently been helping him through his heartache. Last month, Kristen admitted to having a “momentary indiscretion” with the married director of her movie Snow White and the Huntsman.
“[Katy’s] been a real support to Rob and they’ve exchanged texts and calls. But Katy has always had a bit of a crush on him: she thinks he’s gorgeous,” a source told Heat magazine.
Robert attended a party for the star’s movie Katy Perry: Part of Me this year and they are now thought to be planning to meet up in America.
The singer was recently linked to John Mayer after they were spotted enjoying some dates in Los Angeles and she’s also thought to have enjoyed a casual relationship with Florence + the Machine star Robert Ackroyd.
Katy’s family are apparently delighted that she is so happy at the moment.
“The divorce left Katy with terrible self-confidence – she felt like she wasn’t good enough for anyone,” an insider said. “But now, for the first time since things first started going wrong with Russell, she is feeling confident. And it shows – she never stops smiling.”
