J Geils sues J Geils Band

The J. Geils Band circus is about to begin. J. Geils is suing the J. Geils Band.

Last month the J. Geils Band announced they had reformed without J. Geils. The J. Geils Band are about to tour the USA without their namesake John Geils.

This week John Geils filed a lawsuit against the members of the band Richard Salwitz, Danny Klein, Peter Wolf and Seth Justman claiming they “planned and conspired” to exclude him from their tour.

The reformed J. Geils Band minus Geils will play 11 shows across America starting August 25.

John Geils claims they have taken his name and are denying him from using his own name in doing so.

The lawsuit will be heard in the Boston Superior Court.
