The votes are in and the winner has been crowned in Britain's ITV series The Nation's Favorite Number 1 Single.

The vote started with sixty songs selected by a panel from the over 1,000 that had made it to number one on Britain's official charts since 1952. People voted on the sixty and the list was cut down to ten before the final vote.

Taking the top spot is Queen's legendary hit Bohemian Rhapsody. The record was their first U.K. number 1, hitting the top on November 1, 1975 and staying there for nine weeks, the longest of any record since Paul Anka's Diana in 1957. It returned to number 1 on December 15, 1991 right after the passing of lead singer Freddie Mercury.

The final top ten:

Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
Billie Jean - Michael Jackson
Someone Like You - Adele
Don't Look Back in Anger - Oasis
Hey Jude - Beatles
Imagine - John Lennon
...Baby One More Time - Britney Spears
Dancing Queen - ABBA
I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston
Can't Get You Out of My Head - Kylie Minogue
