Usher has been granted a 12 month restraining order against his alleged stalker.
Last month, the R&B star requested a temporary restraining order to keep Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw away from him. She was arrested outside his Georgia home and had previously been warned to keep away from it by police.
Darshelle claimed to be Usher’s wife and was taken away for a medical evaluation.
TMZ reports she and Usher have been in an Atlanta court today.
“The judge issued the restraining order... barring her from going anywhere close to Usher and his kids for a year,” reports the site.
Usher had apparently been concerned for the safety of his two young children with his ex-wife Tameka Raymond.
Over the weekend, Tameka’s 11-year-old son Kyle Glover was rushed to hospital after a Jet Ski accident. It has been widely reported he was declared brain dead yesterday and stars have rushed to show Usher and his former spouse their support.
Tia Mowry, Donny Osmond, Kevin McHale, Lana Del Rey and Jada Pinkett Smith are among those to have posted messages on Twitter.
