Victoria Beckham reportedly found the "bad vibes" so "awful" she made a hasty exit from the Spice Girls reunion.

The star came together with the rest of the former British band in London last week to announce details about Viva Forever!, a West End musical production based on their hit songs.

All five women - Victoria, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C - gushed about the wonderful experience, although sources close to Victoria have claimed she found the situation uncomfortable.

Less than 24 hours after the reunion the 38-year-old star was back with her family in Los Angeles, explaining her hasty return to the US was to put her 11-month-old daughter Harper to bed.

"I couldn't handle the bad vibes. It felt so forced - it's like we're clinging on. It was awful, I nearly couldn't go out and do it," Victoria supposedly told friends, according to British magazine Closer.

"Posh [Victoria] and Mel B barely talked to one another. She didn't think she managed to conceal her emotions at all," a source added.

According to sources, Victoria was having doubts even before the launch. The fashion designer reportedly didn’t feel like putting on a front for the sake of the cameras.

"Victoria said that apart from the official photo calls she didn't want to be in the same room as Mel B and she wasn't looking forward to seeing Geri. Victoria feels she's completely moved on, but said she finds it amusing how they now pretend to get on so well when they barely talk to one another anymore," an insider revealed.
