RAYMOND WEIL, the luxury Swiss watchmaker, Thursday celebrated its continued support of the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef lunch by presenting the RAYMOND WEIL Best International Artist Award to Michael Bublé during a star-studded awards lunch held at The Hilton Hotel in Park Lane, London.

In addition to sponsoring the Best International Artist Award, RAYMOND WEIL each year provides a unique timepiece that is auctioned off each year during the proceedings to help raise thousands of pounds for Nordoff Robbins.

This year, International music sensation Jessie J auctioned off her Limited Edition RAYMOND WEIL BRIT Awards timepiece that was gifted backstage at the BRIT Awards in February. In addition, Jessie raised the bar by throwing into the lot a personal meet and greet and a hospitality box at The O2 Arena. After a series of bids, Mr. Michael Bublé entered the bidding. Following a bidding war with himself – to the delight of the audience, Michael won the lot for the handsome sum of £10,000.

The sale of this year’s Jessie J’s RAYMOND WEIL timepiece increases the money raised by RAYMOND WEIL for Nordoff Robbins to over £510,000. Special edition watches have included designs by Lemar and Jay Kay. In 2010 JB from JLS auctioned off his RAYMOND WEIL limited edition BRIT Awards watch.

Guests at this year’s Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef lunch included; Manic Street Preachers, Kylie Minogue, Tinie Tempah, Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Fatboy Slim, Jessie J, Emeli Sande, Conor Maynard, Annie Mac, Tom Jones, Jo Whiley, Alfie Boe and Peter Kay.

For over 50 years, the name of Nordoff Robbins has been widely respected as the benchmark for using music to improve health and wellbeing. The power of music – with all its emotion, energy, resonance and rhythm – reaches people whose lives are constrained by illness, disability, trauma or exclusion. Nordoff Robbins is the largest charity in the UK specialising in the transformative and communicative power of music. Patrons of the charity include David Bowie, Coldplay, Roger Daltry and Mick Jagger.
