Jay-Z invited Florence Welch to a special dinner on Monday evening.
The hip-hop star has been spending time in the UK recently while touring with Kanye West. Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé Knowles hosted a private meal at Bistrotheque in Bethnal Green, East London, for some close friends and asked the Florence + The Machine singer along too.
Florence appears to have bonded with the superstar couple and spent the evening laughing and joking with them.
“There were about eight of them. They were also celebrating Beyoncé’s sister Solange’s birthday. Florence sat opposite Jay-Z and had a great time. They were all pretty animated throughout dinner,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “Florence was holding court for a bit then Beyoncé drummed cutlery on the table while humming a tune.
“The restaurant was pretty empty so they were very at ease.”
Jay-Z is believed to have enjoyed a vintage bottle of red wine during the dinner, which consisted of steak tartare and roast chicken.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been spending time with a host of stars during their stay in the UK.
Kim Kardashian, will.i.am and Jessie J have all been spotted having fun at Jay-Z and Kanye’s Watch The Throne shows recently.
