Katy Perry ‘needs to heal’

Katy Perry is “absolutely not” afraid of falling in love again.

The pop star’s 14-month marriage with Russell Brand broke down last year.

Katy is currently promoting her fly-on-the-wall documentary Part of Me 3D, which was produced from over 300 hours of film footage shot during her 2011 California Dreams world tour.

British newspaper The Mirror reports that Katy will be taking a professional hiatus as soon as her movie debuts.

“[I’m] absolutely not [afraid of falling in love in the future, but] I need to let my heart heal,” she said.

The 27-year-old singer has been casually dating the Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd for three months.

Katy requires respect and equanimity in romantic relationships.

“For a modern woman, it is important to be supported and that there is equality in every aspect,” she shared.

Katy’s divorce from Russell will be finalised next month.
