Plug In The Lead – A One-Night Rock Concert in Aid Of St Christopher’s Hospice Leicester Square Theater at June 17th, 7.30pm

Performer, Alexis Gerred sadly lost his uncle, Andy Shears, to Cancer whilst he was playing the lead role of ‘Bobby’ in Dreamboats and Petticoats.

At an extremely devastating and difficult time, St. Christopher’s Hospice reached out their charitable hand to help. Feeling useless, Alexis decided it was time to call upon friends he’s made in and around the West End to create a one-night event. The decision resulted in a stellar line up of leading West End and Touring performers and backed by a full rock band.

Hosted by legendary music journalist Paul Gambaccini and headlined by national treasure Tony Christie, the 17th of June is promised to be an uplifting evening of rock music sung by some of the brightest stars in the West End, including Lauren Samuels, Mazz Murray, Lucie Jones, Lorna Want and Jimmy Johnston.

This one off event will raise money for a charity close to so many hearts as all profits from the evening will go towards St. Christopher’s Hospice, including money raised from an auction that will take place on the night.
So, enjoy an evening filled with music by such artists as ‘Queen’, ‘Rod Stewart’, ‘Journey’, ‘The Kinks’ and of course ‘Tony Christie’.
