Kaiser Chiefs slam TV talent shows

The band don’t believe in reality TV shows anymore, because they're wary of where the contestants come from.

Speaking to BANG, drummer Nick Hodgson said: "The thing is, they have gotten a bit suspect now. It's like, ‘Hang on a minute - these people haven't even just turned up to auditions!' So you sort of stop believing them."

But he admitted he would consider sitting in a judge's chair on such programmes alongside stars such as Simon Cowell, will.i.am, Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow if he was offered enough money.

He said: "It depends what the money was like. Seriously, if they want to pay me £1 million to sit there and s**g everyone off then I'd do it."

Bandmate Nick 'Peanut' Baines added: "He does it for free most days.”
