George Clinton owes government $115,000 in back taxes

He might just have to turn the Mothership over to the government to get out of this one.

According to TMZ, George Clinton has had a tax lien filed against him by the U.S. Government for back taxes in the amount of $115,552.27 for the years 2007 and 2008.

Not paying the amount in a timely manner would allow the government to seize his assets.

This is the second time that George has gotten into financial difficulties. Back in the mid-80's, he had royalty and copyright problems that led to a 1984 bankruptcy.
