Bruno Mars “sweated profusely” during his performance at the Met Gala on Monday night.

The singer took to the stage at the fashion ball, which included a host of celebrity guests such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Gerard Butler, Kirsten Dunst and Emma Roberts. However, he had a hard time coping with the heat at the New York City event

“It was so hot in there. I was sweating profusely,” he told New York Post.

Alicia Keys and Azealia Banks later belted out tunes at the Prada after-party which was held at the Ukrainian Institute of America. They sang in front of a host of stars including Jessica Alba, Milla Jovovich, Florence Welch, Camilla Belle, Diane von Furstenberg, Chloë Sevigny and Emma Stone.

Baseball star Alex Rodriguez was spotted at another after-party at the Crown restaurant with his girlfriend Torrie Wilson and her best friend Stacy Keibler - who is George Clooney’s squeeze.

Joe Jonas, who also attended the Crown with his brothers Kevin and Nick, made a suggestion on how to improve the red-carpet at the annual fashion gala.

“I would attach a Slip ’n’ Slide to the red carpet so that at the end of the night, we could all just slide right down into our cars,” he joked.

Torrie and Stacy were later spotted dancing at the Top of the Standard nightspot with Glee star Matthew Morrison. Gary Oldman, Sir Mick Jagger and his girlfriend L’Wren Scott where also at the venue, where L’Wren reportedly “danced on the banquette”.
