2012’s biggest American breakthrough band, fun., has announced details of a UK tour, which will take place this October.

The dates kick off at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on October 2, following with shows in Birmingham, Dublin and Manchester, before finishing up at Glasgow’s O2 ABC on October 8.

Their new album Some Nights (produced by Jeff Bhasker (Beyonce, Kanye West, JAY-Z)) will release here on May 21 and incorporates eclectic elements, involving 70’s pop, ornate orchestrations, modern rock and even hip-hop.
