Dannii Minogue is reportedly "feeling numb" after her love life has hit headlines.
The Australian star split from the model Kris Smith earlier this month. The pair began dating in August 2008 and have a 20-month-old son called Ethan together.
Dannii is also currently at the centre of a scandal involving Simon Cowell. It has been claimed that the pair had a romantic relationship during her time as a judge on the UK version of The X Factor.
Reports on her turbulent love life are reportedly taken their toll on the star.
"Dannii's told friends: 'I feel numb. I can't believe this is happening. I thought things couldn't get any worse, but I'm tough and I can get through this,'" a source told British magazine Closer.
Dannii went to a One Direction concert shortly after the alleged affair with Simon hit headlines. Sources close to the star says the beauty "summoned up a lot of courage" to attended, especially as the British band are under Simon's care.
"She was anxious, but tried really hard to keep a smile on her face," the source continued.
"Dannii's embarrassed and feels betrayed over the claims. Her biggest fear is people will think she only got her job on X Factor because of the fling and she's mortified. On top of everything with Kris, it just spent her into a spin. She's distraught."
