SXSW throws up a heap of great visual spectacles each year and this year was no exception.

Music-News.com bumped into Brooklyn, New York indie rockers outside Franks showcasing their acoustic prowess at an impromptu street gig.

Singer/guitarist, Billy McCarthy, bassist Eric Sanderson and drummer Rob Allen entertained the passersby for 30 minutes with a welcome set at this year's festival and conference in Austin, Texas.

Juarez, Chapel Song, Strange Days and Book Of James where all heard in what we understand was a set being filmed for an upcoming new video.

Speaking to Music-News.com of their reception Billy said "wow, what a great reception, we just took out our acoustics and started strumming thinking no one would notice. It's been a blast!"

We Are Augustines have just released Rise Ye Sunken Ships will on March 5th in the UK.
