Mock metallers Tenacious D announce their triumphant return in a video featuring Val Kilmer, Dave Grohl and Josh Groban.

As the story goes, following the tragic failure of their album and film The Pick of Destiny, Jack Black and Kyle Gass have gone their separate ways, never to record their acoustic schlock metal again.

But the following video released today shows how the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, operatic pop star Josh Groban, and a bold moment of self-sacrifice from Val Kilmer, have reunited the D.
