Demi Lovato didn’t visit any treatment facilities last week, her representatives confirm.

The 19-year-old singer-and-actress went to rehab in 2010 to be treated for “emotional and physical issues”.

Demi, who didn’t attend last Sunday’s Grammy Awards, posted a Twitter update about her whereabouts last week.

“Away on a mind and body cleansing retreat!! This is exciting. Won't be tweeting much this week but I love you my sweet lovatics! (sic)” Demi tweeted.

Although the update seemed to allude to a relapse, Demi’s representatives contend that it was nothing of the sort.

“She's not in rehab,” the star’s representative told MTV News. “She was not supposed to present at the Grammys.”

Last week was simply a vacation for Demi.

“The trip was previously planned. Demi had a week off between work commitments and made the personal decision to spend the week with the professional support team she assembled to help her with her ongoing physical and emotional issues,” another source said.

Demi takes her mental and physical health seriously. She has a huge network of support that keeps her on track.

“Demi's recovery is an ongoing battle,” the source shared. “She understands that there will be ups and downs, but is fully committed to working with her team every single day towards a healthy future.”

Demi is open about the personal struggles she has experienced. The star visited her former rehabilitation facility Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Centre in December to speak with patients about her recovery.
