The Music News Reality TV expert with the proven eye for spotting talent, has this afternoon been told by William Hill that he is 66/1 to be a judge on the next series of the X Factor...

“The X Factor was missing something in 2011, the return of Simon and possible Dean would make it must see viewing all over again,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

Dean Midas Maynard's eye for spotting new upcoming singers, bands and talent in general, has earned him the nickname of the 'New Simon Cowell'.

Of the 34 shows that Dean has supported acts on, 30 of them have finished in the top 4 or higher and nearly all have gone on to have very successful careers.

His prediction success stories include One Direction, Cher Lloyd, Sophie Evans (Dorothy in the West End's Wizard of Oz) and Leona Lewis

Dean said "I know 66/1 is a long shot but it is still a huge honour to be even considered by the bookies, they must think I am doing something right"

He concluded "If by some miracle I was given a chance by Mr Cowell, then he could certainly trust me to find the next big act"
