Whitney Houston may be broke. RadarOnline.com has been told by a source that the singer has run through her fortune. "Whitney’s fortune is gone. Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released."

The condition of Riot guitarist Mark Reale is much more serious than originally indicated. The original reports had him hospitalized for treatment of his Crohn's Disease; however, it has now been revealed that he has been unconscious for nine days from a brain hemorrhage. His webmaster wrote:
Mark had a subarachnoid haemorrhage and that is why he’s still in a coma since January 11, when he was rushed to hospital.
Mark is also fighting several other critical conditions, but he’s getting the very best here in San Antonio from gifted and talented doctors.
Reale is the only original member left in the band from their formation in 1975.

Thirty years after its initial release, a film is finally being made based on the KISS album (Music From) The Elder. When released in 1981, the album was meant to be the soundtrack for a movie but it was never made after the album flopped. Now, U.K. filmmaker Seb Hunter has announced that he will finally bring it to the big screen.
There is also a book coming on the album, Music From the Elder: The Unauthorized Story of the Most Spectacular Failure in the History of Kiss.

Finally, a new label called Alona's Dream Records has issued their first release, a 45 by an obscure Chicago-based band called the Ravens. Well, obscure, if you skip the fact that one of the members of this band was John Belushi. Back in 1965, only fifty copies of the record Listen To Me Now/Jolly Green Giant, so Alona's run of 200 will put the sounds in four times as many households.
