Michael Jackson will be immortalized outside of Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on January 26 with his hand and foot prints are placed in cement. The event will be "produced" by Jackson's estate and the executors, John McClain and John Branca and (we're not making this up), the hand and foot prints will be put in cement by Jackson's three children using his sequined glove and shoes.


It's good news for Etta James. She is out of the hospital and home with her family after being hospitalized and in intensive care for breathing difficulties. According to friend and manager, Lupe De Leon, her condition has stabilized although she continues to deal with her terminal leukemia.


Jack White's latest collaboration is with Tom Jones. The two collaborated on a new version of the song Jezebel, originally from the 2002 album Mr. Jones, and a cover of Howlin' Wolf's Evil.
White is also in the process of remastering a number of blues records from the catalog of Document Records for release on high-quality vinyl.

Barbara Nicks, the mother of Stevie Nicks, passed away on December 28 in Paradise Valley, AZ from pneumonia. She was 84.
