Nick Lachey is excited about attending an ugly Christmas sweater party with his wife.
Nick and spouse Vanessa Minnillo will be spending the holiday with his family in Cincinatti, Ohio this year.
The couple will be throwing their ugly sweater party to set off the yuletide celebrations.
"[Vanessa] went shopping for my sweater yesterday," Nick told People magazine. "From what I've seen in pictures, it's pretty heinous."
Although spending Christmas with the family is important to the pair, Nick and Vanessa are most excited about what the 2011 holidays commemorate for their relationship.
"It's our first Christmas as a married couple, so we're looking forward to that," Nick gushed.
Tying the knot back in July, Nick and Vanessa are not rushing to expand their family. The newlyweds are enjoying their connubial bliss at the moment.
"I don't think there's necessarily any timetable for [having kids]," Nick explained.
"We're definitely excited about being parents at some point, but I think whenever that happens, we'll embrace it and be excited for it. There's no real sense of urgency at this point."
