Paula Abdul’s home was reportedly visited by armed police last night.

According to Radaronline.com the Los Angeles force arrived at the X Factor judge’s home after the burglar alarm went off.

The police received the emergency call at 2.30am from a private security firm that monitor’s Paula’s neighbourhood.

The officers then rushed to the property in Sherman Oaks, California armed with guns, ready to take on an intruder.

When they arrived at the house the front door was reportedly open and no one was home.

Authorities didn’t find any proof that the house had been broken into and nothing was stolen. Paula has yet to comment on the alleged incident.

Coincidentally Paula is planning to sell some of her favourite fashion items at her home over the weekend.

Her collection of beautiful objects will be open to the public to purchase on December 18, 19, 20 and 21.

The event is to raise money for PAWS, Make a Wish Foundation and National Eating Disorders Association.
