A portrait of Billy Joel has been hung at Steinway Hall, home of piano makers Steinway & Sons in New York. He is one of only two living artists to have their portrait at the facility and the only non-classical artist.
Lyle Lovett will release a new album, Release Me, on February 28 and it will mark a milestone in his career. It will be the final album under his current contract with Curb/Universal where he has been recording since his 1986 debut. No word yet on what his next move will be.

The Alice Cooper documentary being made by Sam Dunn reportedly has a name, Vincent Goes to Hell: An Alice Cooper Doc Opera. The film is receiving funds from Telefilm Canada and the Rogers Group of Funds (Dunn is Canadian).
