Marc Anthony has reportedly put a ban on his estranged wife’s lover spending too much time with their children.
The Latin singer and Jennifer Lopez announced they were splitting earlier this year after seven years of marriage.
She has now moved on and is dating 24-year-old toyboy lover Casper Smart but Marc is said to be furious she has moved on so quickly and is upset with her choice of partner.
Casper has reportedly been arrested twice; for speeding and driving on a suspended license so Marc wants to ensure that the backing dancer does not get behind the wheel with his three-year-old twins Max and Emme in the car. Casper has also had three warrants issued for his arrest when he failed to appear at court dates.
“Marc went ballistic when he found out about Casper’s criminal record,” an insider told RadarOnline.
“He explicitly told Jen that Casper wasn’t allowed to drive their children anywhere. Marc hates the fact that Casper is spending time with Max and Emme.
“Marc is extremely jealous, and doesn’t think Jen is using good judgement when it comes to Casper.”
Marc and Jennifer have not yet officially filed for divorce as they are still working out their settlement arrangements, but the source said that the singer has told the Jenny From The Block star that he will take legal action if Casper went against his orders.
“This wasn’t a threat that Marc gave Jen,” the source continued. “He will go straight to family court if he needs to get a judge involved to make sure Casper doesn’t get behind the wheel with his kids in the car.”
Marc also refused to film his Latin reality television show with Jennifer in Morocco recently because he was so upset about his former love’s new boyfriend.
