Rod Stewart says he would love to be part of a Faces reunion for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He told Rolling Stone, "Oh, yeah! I'd love it. If they're all available I'll definitely make myself available."
This is the second time Stewart has been inducted, making it as a solo artist in 1994; however, he didn't attend the first ceremony because of the Los Angeles earthquake.


George Michael's partner, Fadi Fawaz, has said that the singer's condition is improving; however, he expects that he will still be in the hospital for Christmas. There's no word yet on any long-lasting damage to Michael's voice from the use of a ventilator during his battle with pneumonia.


Hank Williams, Jr. may be the brunt of a lot of jokes lately, but he still is a big man in Nashville. Tuesday night, he played a solo acoustic performance at the Country Music Hall of Fame to celebrate the soon ending four-year run of the Family Tradition: The Williams Family Legacy exhibit.
The performance was a benefit for the hall, raising $75,000. In addition, Williams said he was leaving many of the items he had lent to the museum for the special exhibit so that they could be used in future displays.


VH1 added a number of new names to their VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul special which premiers on Monday, December 19.
What had originally looked to be "new artists salute old soul"with names like Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, Florence + the Machine and Jennifer Hudson has now been changed to a fine mix of artists old and new. Look for Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, Mavis Staples, Wanda Jackson and Dolly Parton to be among the artists appearing on the show.


It seems a few members of the group War are upset about their missing out on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Specifically, Howard Scott, one of the group's founding members, told TMZ that he is particularly upset that the Beastie Boys are in first.
"We were cranking out gold records when they were still in diapers. How could the Beastie Boys get in before us when they sampled War's music on their first album?! I'll eat their platinum records!"
