Billy Idol recently Tweeted about foot surgery he required after a 2010 motorcycle accident where he hit an old tire and received a hairline fracture. Shortly after the recent surgery, he said "The foots coming along great, just getting thru it if ya know what i mean! The pain in my foot has now resided so no more pain pills boo hoo but bollocks I've been there & (over) did that!"


David Crosby and Graham Nash performed on Tuesday afternoon at the Occupy Wall Street protests in New York. The duo performed Teach Your Children, Military Madness and other songs from their catalog.


In other Graham Nash news, the singer/songwriter is turning over the proceeds of all sales of Our House between now and January 2012 to Habitat For Humanity for their efforts in Haiti. "We have to share our good fortunes with those who don't have any," said Nash of his support for Habitat's work in Haiti. "We need to share the love."


The earlier death of rapper Heavy D appears to be from a heart attack. TMZ reported that a neighbor saw the rapper leaning on a railing after returning from shopping saying "I can't breath, I can't breath."
It is reported that he still had a pulse when paramedics got him to the hospital but he passed soon after.


Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson will be one of the guests at Andy Kim's seventh annual Christmas show December 14 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto. Also on the bill are Brenden Canning and Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene, Ron Sexsmith and members of Finger Eleven.
