Gene Simmons of KISS and long-time partner Shannon Tweed actually tied the know on Saturday at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. About 400 people attended including the members of KISS (Paul Stanley was in the wedding party) and Hugh Hefner.


The Michael Jackson tribute concert, set for October 8, will stream live on Facebook, a first for the social networking site. The price will be 40 credits ($3.99) before the show and 50 credits ($4.99) the day of the show.
The lineup for the show includes the Black Eyed Peas, Leona Lewis, Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Hudson and more.


The Cure were nominated last week for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but lead Robert Smith is not happy with the Hall and their official announcement. Specifically, he is upset that the bio of the group didn't mention the group's current and longest drummer, Jason Cooper.

Marvin Tarplin, guitarist and songwriter for Motown, passed away on Friday at the age of 70. He played with the Miracles as far back as 1958 and was co-writer of such hits as Tracks of My Tears, Going to a Go-Go, Ain't That Peculiar and I'll Be Doggone.
Even after Smokey Robinson left the Miracles, the two continued to work together until 2008.


Peter Framption will get a star on Nashville's Music City Walk of Fame on October 22. Frampton lived in Nashville for awhile in the 90's and is returning for the ceremony and a performance of his classic Frampton Comes Alive at the Ryman Auditorium. Frampton was selected in tribute to "those from all genres of music who have made significant contributions to preserving the musical heritage of Nashville."


Poison has announced that they will play a special show on November 5 at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL to benefit the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida.
