Pixie returned this Summer with a brand new single All About Tonight which stormed straight to the #1 spot, selling over 88,000 copies in it’s first week. She follows this up with brand new single What Do You Take Me For featuring Pusha T on November 7th and her highly anticipated sophomore album Young Foolish Happy on the same date.
What Do You Take Me For is an intoxicating blend of funk samples and warping basslines and produced by dubstep supremo Rusko. The track features rising rapper Pusha T, recently signed to Kanye West’s label Good Music.
To coincide with the album release, Pixie has some exciting promotion and events planned, including her only full live show of 2011 at the Kentish Town Forum on October 19th. This show is part of the Q Awards Gigs and will be one not to be missed!
Pixie released her debut album Turn It Up in September 2009 and it has been flying high since with now over a million copies sold. She received three Brit nominations in 2010, broke records, won an MTV Award, sold over 2million singles, two of which were #1s and three were #1 airplay hits.
Add to that, Pixie has her own clothing line ‘Pixie Lott for Lipsy’. She starred as a guest judge on last year’s X Factor alongside Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh. Last December, Pixie performed her first headline tour and it sold out within hours.
