Neil Geraldo, husband of and guitarist for Pat Benatar, has injured his arm and the balance of their tour has been canceled. The following was posted on Benatar's website:

Cher is on track to release a new album possibly later this year. Producing is Timbaland and J-Roc along with songwriter Diane Warren.
Just two weeks after Lindsey Buckingham said that their was a good possibility that Fleetwood Mac would be touring in 2012, Mick Fleetwood has all but confirmed the trek. Talking with Rolling Stone, he said "We’re so disorganized as a band... All we know is we’re working next year. I’ll get a phone call that we’re going to start rehearsing, usually in a blind panic because we leave everything way too late. But we’re all up for touring in the early summer of next year, I think, and once we start we’re much like U2 and the Stones in terms of workload. We basically play until no one wants to book us anymore."
The man who killed Walter Scott, the lead singer for Bob Kuban and the In-Men (The Cheater) has passed away while still in prison for the crime. James H. Williams, Sr., 72, was serving a life term for killing his own wife along with Scott in two separate crimes back in 1983. Scott's body was found four years later on Williams' property.
The man who designed the cover for the Beatles' White Album, Richard Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday in England at the age of 89.
Known as the "Father of Pop Art," Hamilton claimed that he was only paid $316 for that particular design, but he also is known to have been a huge influence on Peter Blake who created the Sgt. Pepper cover.
The Flaming Lips have gone off the deep end again with another high concept recording. I Found This Star on the Ground is a six-hour song that is meant to be accompanied by a strobe light toy.
Wayne Coyne told Rolling Stone "The best way that we can describe the sound of it is, it's like the Velvet Underground meets Super Mario Brothers. And if you’ve ever played the Mario Brothers game or it you’ve had it on in he background, you could listen to a Mario Brothers type video game forever because its kind of just "do do do do do la ta da ta da." It's not real intense, and it's not going anywhere. Steven was already composing it to be kind of like a long John Coltrane thing."
