Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit Concert is entering it's 25th year with October 22 and 23 shows at the Shorline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. While there is nothing as big as last year's Buffalo Springfield reunion, he has assembled an impressive lineup that includes Tony Bennett, Carlos Santana, Beck, Mumford and Sons, Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, Dave Matthews, Eddie Vedder and Diana Krall.

A brand new monument is about to be unveiled at the grave of guitar great Les Paul. The 500 square foot memorial, made by Rock of Ages from Vermont, will be unveiled on Saturday by family and friends. Granite slabs line the outside of the structure with Paul's life story.

Neil Diamond is engaged to be married for a third time. Diamond wrote on Twitter "Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you're the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well. Neil." Katie is Katie McNeil, Diamond's manager and executive producer of his Hot August Night: NYC set.

Sean Lennon, the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, is scoring his second film for director Jordan Galland. Alter Egos is an original superhero adventure with music described by the director as "an epic superhero sound." Lennon last scored Galland's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead.

Just a couple days after postponing a series of dates due to Iggy Pop's broken foot, the Stooges have rescheduled all but one appearance. Their September 7 Los Angeles date is now December 1 and the September 12 and 13 San Francisco dates are now December 4 and 6. No word yet on the Las Vegas show scheduled for September 10.
