Buddy Holly will finally get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a special ceremony on September 7, which would have been his 75th birthday.

British actress Ruth Negga has been cast in the title role of the BBC Two drama Shirley Bassey: A Very British Diva.

She said of her casting "I’m thrilled to be cast in the role of Shirley Bassey and it’s an absolute honour to be playing her in such an intimate story of her life."

Paul McCartney has revealed that he was one of the victims of the hacking scandal that is currently playing out in the U.K. While he says he cannot comment until he speaks to British authorities, it appears that much of the problem stems from his breakup with ex-wife Heather Mills. McCartney did tell a press conference that "I think it’s a horrendous violation of privacy. I do think it’s been going on for a long time."
