Sirius/XM Radio has announced that they will be adding a new channel revolving around Bob Dylan's Theme Time Radio Hour starting on August 15. Along with music that fits in with that which Dylan normally played on the show, there will also be repeats of his program throughout the week.
The new station joins other themed channels on Sirius/XM like Simon & Garfunkel Radio, Neil Diamond Radio and Mandatory Metallica.

We've already seen one Buddy Holly tribute album this summer (Rave On Buddy Holly), but a second is coming on September 6 with Listen to Me: Buddy Holly. The 2011 Pacific University Legends Golf Classic will tee of this Sunday and part of the festivities is a celebrity concert during the evening's dinner and auction. Included in the band will be Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer (Kiss), Don Felder, Robbie Krieger (Doors), Danny Seraphine (Chicago), Clint Black, Darius Rucker and Johnny Lee.

Eric Singer of Kiss talked to Bravewords.com about the recording of the group's new album, saying that they are eight songs in. "This isn't The Elder where we have a theme for the whole record. It’s a straight-ahead rock Kiss record and I think this stuff is far stronger, better material [than Sonic Boom]. It’s more riffy, which makes it more interesting."
