Childhood friends Travie McCoy and Matt McGinley could never have anticipated the success they would achieve when they decided to start a band in New York over a decade ago. Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo and Eric Roberts complete the award winning band whose fifth studio album ‘The Papercut Chronicles II’, featuring Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, was released earlier this year.

In 2010 lead singer Travie McCoy released his debut solo single ‘Billionaire’ featuring Bruno Mars that reached number one in the UK R&B Charts and sold over 2,730,000 digital copies in the US alone.

Yet despite all their success, McCoy claims that they’re only just getting started, stating “I think that the day we’re satisfied or content with where Gym Class Heroes is, is the day we find something else to do. Once we feel like we’re not hungry anymore it’s time to finds something else to do. But right now we’re just as hungry as we were four or five years ago… in fact we’re starving.”

Gym Class Heroes previously released albums ‘The Papercut Chronicles’, ‘As Cruel As School Children’ and ‘The Quilt’ and had UK top 5 hits with ‘Cupids Chokehold’, ‘Clothes Off’ and Cookie Jar’.

Being labeled one of the most powerful and charismatic shows around, you definitely won’t want to miss Gym Class Heroes live!
