US Celebrity Apprentice contestants Meat Loaf, John Rich, Lil Jon and Mark McGrath have pooled their talents to record a charity single for to benefit their various charities of choice.

The proceeds from the song ‘Stand In The Storm’ will go to help Meat Loaf’s ‘The Painted Turtle’, John Rich’s choice ‘St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital’, Lil Jon’s ‘The United Methodist Children’s Home of North Georgia Conference and Mark McGrath’s ‘Save The Music Foundation’.

The song is called ‘Sand In The Storm’. It will feature on Meat Loaf’s next album ‘Hell In A Handbasket’ due around October.

Considering the four styles of the individual members it is a hybrid rock, pop, country and hip-hop song.

Meat Loaf, Lil Jon, John Rich and Mark McGrath made up Team Backbone in this year’s season of The Celebrity Apprentice.
