Beastie Boys forced to post entire album online after leaks
27 April 2011
Beastie Boys have posted their whole new album online because the “clean” version was leaked.
The B-Boys have been blaming leaks for all their new sound being released before the official date, and this time they say the “clean” version of The Hot Sauce Committee Part Two has snuck out online so they’re streaming the “filthy dirty nasty” version.
They write on their blog “…as a hostile and retaliatory measure with great hubris we are making the full explicit aka filthy dirty nasty version available for streaming on our site. We hope this brings much happiness, hugs, and harmony.”
All sixteen tracks are up on SoundCloud to listen to and buy, except, for some obtuse reason, track five ‘Say It’.
