First the Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block tour together, now they’ve recorded a single together.

Can we get anymore schmaltzy harmonising on one track? Presumably, yes, as the iconic boy bands of the ‘90s have joined forces for a new track called ‘Don’t Turn Off The Lights’.

They unite under the moniker of NKOTBSB, mercifully not spelled out as to avoid the obviously homoerotic connotations.

Technically it’s not a complete collaboration – one Backstreet Boy doesn’t appear on the track – but it’ll be good enough for the squealing MILFs.

They delivered a sample of it during a cruise show late last year and proper copies have been circulating on the net but Sony have been pulling them down pretty quickly.

The song is the first from a collaborative album which will be released on May 24, which will also feature five classic tracks from each band.

So there’s a distinct possibility it will be an eleven-track ‘new’ album.
