The 10-year-old pop star was inspired to launch a career in the music industry by her famous parents Jada – who is an actress and the frontwoman of metal band Wicked Wisdom – and Hollywood superstar Will.

She said: “Mommy and daddy inspired me to be a performer.

“I get my flow from daddy, my singing ability from mommy, and the camera stuff from both. That’s just what happens when you hang out with the Smiths!”

As well as being inspired by her parents’ careers, Willow also gets many of her musical tastes from her family favourite artists.

She told the December issue of W magazine: “I like the way Billy Idol sings. Mommy turned me on to him. And I like Lady Gaga’s songs.”

Despite finding stardom in her own right, the ‘Whip My Hair’ hitmaker – whose brother is ‘Karate Kid’ actor Jaden Smith – admits she still has to follow her parents’ rules.

She explained: “I can’t do whatever I want. Mommy has to say it’s OK.”

Willow has previously said she decided to embark on her musical career at such a young age because she feels she can "make a difference" to people.

She said: "I wanted to make a difference now, and because I wanted to be big and famous like my mommy and daddy and help people."
