Jay-Z and Microsoft’s search engine Bing have put together a global scavenger hunt for fans to find his new memoir.

The book, titled Decoded, will be out on November 16 but enterprising fans will be able to find it, in bits and pieces, beforehand.

A press release said that all 300 pages of the book will be out in the world, in odd places “never before used for advertising”, with clues being delivered via this Bing search.

Enterprising fans will be able to dig them out but they might need to have some frequent flyer miles saved up.

It has been suggested that most of the pages will be in New York, but there will be pages in 14 other cities all over the world.

Jay-Z is also on the verge of releasing the first volume of a greatest hits collection, aptly-titled The Hits Collection Volume One.

The first volume will have fourteen tracks, including ‘Run This Town’, ‘Izzo (H.O.V.A.)’, ‘Empire State Of Mind’, ’99 Problems’, ‘Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)’ and ‘Roc Boys (And The Winner Is…)’.

It’ll be released on November 22.
