Squeeze headlined the Big Top Tent pre-festival line up last night which included The members, Semi Precious Weapons, Are You experienced, with Glen Tilbrook and Chris Difford playing their hits to a very enthusiastic crowd.

Up bright and early the duo played an acoustic set on DJ Christian O’Connell’s morning show.

MN were present at the session and spoke to Craig Watson, band member of Waterburner, winners of the Absolute Radio’s One last Dream competition.

“ We’ve had a hectic week what with recording Tempted at the Abbey Road studios with Glen Tilbrook producing, and today we open up the main stage on the 40th anniversary of the festival. It’s a great honour and thank Absolute Radio for having chosen us out of hundreds of bands.”

Today will see Jay-Z take to the main stage along with Doves, Florence and the Machine and Calvin Harris, stay tuned for more breaking news as we have it.
