Charli XCX and Troye Sivan have announced a North American arena tour.

The hitmakers have announced that they will be embarking on their joint U.S. tour, Charli XCX & Troye Sivan Present: Sweat, in September.

Charli and Troye are set to co-headline the tour with opening support from singer and DJ Shygirl.

The tour will kick off in Detroit on 14 September and continue to cities including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago and Boston, before wrapping up in Seattle on 23 October.

The trek is in support of Charli's forthcoming sixth studio album Brat, which is due for release on 7 June, and Troye's third studio album Something to Give Each Other, which was released in October last year.

According to the press release, the upcoming tour is "not only a celebration of their individual successes, but it is also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and diversity within the music industry. Fans can expect an electrifying show filled with exhilarating performances, stunning visuals, and infectious beats."

The pop duo previously collaborated on the song 1999, which appeared on the 2019 album Charli, and its follow-up single 2099.
