Ciara has celebrated nine years since she first met her husband Russell Wilson.

On Tuesday night, the singer-songwriter marked nine years since she first met the American football quarterback in a new post on Instagram.

"3.26 the day that we met...9 years ago & forever one of the best days of my life," Ciara, 38, wrote in the caption. "I love you so much @DangeRussWilson."

In the post, the Level Up hitmaker shared a series of snaps and a clip of herself posing next to a large bunch of red heart balloons.

Meanwhile, Russell, 35, took to his Instagram Stories to repost the video of Ciara with the balloons. He captioned the post, "3.26.15. Day we First met".

Ciara met the football star at a University of Wisconsin basketball game in 2015, months after ending her engagement to rapper Future in August 2014.

The Like a Boy singer and Russell became engaged in March 2016 and quietly tied the knot in July of that year.

The couple have three children together, Sienna, six, Win, three, and three-month-old Amora. Ciara also has a son, nine-year-old Zahir, with Future.
